5 oz (150 g) -
Unsalted butter
Softened butter for greasing ramekins
1 1/2 tbsp -
Truffle
Fresh truffle with a delicate, earthy flavor

Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C)
Step 2
Using a vegetable peeler, shave the Parmigiano Reggiano into very thin slices
Step 3
Generously butter four ramekins and place a slice of Parmigiano Reggiano in each.
Step 4
Add a sliver of truffle on top of the cheese, followed by another slice of Parmigiano Reggiano.
Step 5
Continue layering the cheese and truffle until all ingredients have been used (ending with the cheese).
Step 6
Bake for 3 minutes or until the Parmigiano begins to melt.
Step 7
Serve immediately.
